Christmas trees with sparkling lights and bright red poinsettias filled the Msgr. Joseph Chotin Center, and tables were topped with golden runners and all the accoutrements of fine dining. Students, who modeled historically inspired fashions, nightwear, little girl apparel and special occasion dresses, carried identically dressed dolls. Guests at the evening dinner were served chicken with a Hawaiian glaze, French green beans, baked penne pasta in a cream sauce and bread pudding withcreme anglaiseand ice cream. Diners at the afternoon teas enjoyed cucumber and turkey finger sandwiches, mini desserts and petit fours, and tea choices of Buckingham Palace, Chocolate Chai, Cinnamon Spice or Holiday Blend. Door prizes were awarded, and the grand prize raffle featured American Girl Willa, Kendall, Ashlyn, Emerson and Camille WellieWishers dolls, a Magic Theater Play Tent, Carrot and Hutch Set, Garden Party Table and Chairs,Berry Sweet Snack Stand, Tea for Two Party Set and a Nature Explorer Set. Applause was accorded to assistant Principal Vita Dickens for coordinating the event ชุดนอนผ้าซาติน and to Paula Johnson, fashion show director. Principal Frank Smith recognized teachers, staff and parents who decorated the center and served the food. Our Lady of the Lake School partnered with the American Girl Program for the fashion show that was a benefit for the school and students.
